Indian Navy Agniveer Recruitment 2026 : Indian Navy Online Form 2026
Indian Navy has promulgated the official recruitment notifications for Agniveer (SSR), Agniveer (MR), and SSR (Medical) for the 01/2027 and 02/2027 induction cycles. Unmarried Indian male and female candidates (males only for SSR Medical) meeting the prescribed eligibility criteria are invited to apply through the official recruitment portal between 14th March 2026 and 6th April 2026.
Indian Navy Agniveer Recruitment 2026 : Detailed Overview :
The Indian Navy has released the official recruitment notification for Agniveer (SSR), Agniveer (MR), and SSR (Medical) posts for the 01/2027 and 02/2027 batches under the Agnipath scheme. This recruitment drive invites unmarried Indian male and female candidates (male candidates only for the SSR Medical branch) to apply for service in the naval force.
According to the official notification, candidates selected for Agniveer SSR and MR will serve a four-year engagement period, while the SSR (Medical) post offers a 20-year regular service engagement in the medical branch. The selection process will be conducted in two stages. Stage I will consist of the Indian Navy Entrance Test (INET), a computer-based examination assessing subjects such as English, Science, Mathematics, Biology, and General Awareness depending on the post applied for. Candidates who qualify the written examination will be shortlisted for Stage II, which includes the Physical Fitness Test (PFT), a written examination, and a recruitment medical examination.
Interested and eligible candidates can submit their applications online through the official recruitment portal of the Indian Navy. The online application process will begin on 14 March 2026 and remain open until 06 April 2026.
