JKSSB Eligibility Criteria 2025-26

Candidates must fulfill the following eligibility conditions as specified in the official notification.

1. Domicile:

  • Applicant must be a domicile of the Union Territory of Jammu & Kashmir.
  • A valid Domicile Certificate issued by the competent authority on or before the cut-off date (25th February 2026) is mandatory.

2. Age Limit (as on 01.01.2025):

  • Open Merit: 18 to 40 Years (Born between 01.01.1985 and 01.01.2007)
  • SC/ST/RBA/ALC/IB/EWS/OBC: 18 to 43 Years (Born between 01.01.1982 and 01.01.2007)
  • Physically Challenged Person (PwBD): 18 to 42 Years (Born between 01.01.1983 and 01.01.2007)
  • Ex-Servicemen: 18 to 48 Years (Born between 01.01.1977 and 01.01.2007)

3. Educational Qualification:

JKSSB Selection Process 2025-26

  3. Document Verification: Candidates shortlisted based on written exam merit will be called for Document Verification (DV). Original documents/certificates must be produced for verification.
